Email Marketing Tips
When sending out your email newsletter, it's important that your reader actually receives it, and that it doesn't get caught in their spam filter. One of the best ways to do this is to use an email service provider. My current favorite is MailChimp. MailChimp offers great pricing, is easy to use and set up, and is free if you're just starting out building a list. This is a great way to get started building an email newsletter, especially if you aren't sure about committing to another monthly fee.

Use The Best Web Browser
Although Internet Explorer ships with every new PC, it's actually the worst web browser out there. If you want to have the best experience browsing the internet, it's important to use a good browser. The best web browser is Mozilla Firefox. It is "web standards compliant," which means that the content a web designer codes well is actually going to show up in your browser! And once you learn to use it well, Firefox is very customizable, unlike Internet Explorer. The Opera browser is also quite good, and has some really useful features I mentioned above, regarding file sharing. Finally, the newer Google Chrome, released in late 2008 is a lightning-fast, rapidly-improving new browser, recently discovered to be more resistant to Hackers than some of the other browsers. Some complain that Google will now have more direct access to user's search habits through their browser. But if you're a fan of Google, this mainly means that they'll also be able to improve their search data for you, the user.
If you have to use Internet Explorer (and I mean HAVE to because of a work related issue) be sure to use the latest update, but consider switching if you have a choice.
